For comments, there is a option to subscribe to my comments in frontend settings and in shortcode.

Is there a way to turn the notification for my comments/activity on my default.

At present option is available only in front end settings and in shortcode. I will add that option in admin settings in future release, it requires code changes. I am working on next release changes based on comments from other clients with some enhancements, i might add this change in upcoming release 1.70 or in next to next release 1.71.

Dear Murani,

I have 4 custom post types on my site. I would like to ask if it is possible for a user to subscribe to notifications for only one specific post type. For example, I want to give my users the option to receive notifications for each new post from the custom post type “music” but not receive notifications from the custom post type “movies”. Essentially, I would like the posts option in the shortcode to be separated in 4 different options and not unified for all custom post types. Is this possible?
